The whole world has been reeling from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to increased levels of stress and worries, people have made dramatic adjustments to their lifestyle as well. However, in tough times it’s important to stay positive. Finding positive meaning in stressful encounters helps in keeping the morale high and regulate emotions.
In the past 1.5 years, we all have been through many ups and downs. Anxiousness, uncertainty, and negativity around have disturbed many of us. And in order to help families cope with the situation and feel positive, I have compiled a list of things that parents and kids can do together at home to spread positivity. Hope you like these ways you can spread positivity.
This is how I ensure my kid’s safety during the pandemic.
Here are few ways you can spread positivity during the Covid-19 Pandemic
- Watch family movies- There are various positive and happy family movies available on Netflix and other OTT platforms. It’s a great way to spend some family time and add on positivity. Just grab a popcorn tub, dim your lights and sit back to watch a nice flick.
- Write letters- Letter writing is one of the most cherished practices that we used to follow in our childhood. And in order to make the kids learn the lost art of letter writing this is a perfect opportunity since we all are cooped inside the house. So, letter writing is a great way to connect with friends, grandparents, and families around. Handwritten letters hold a lot of value and in these times, they can prove to be a great gesture to cheer someone up.
- Artsy-craftsy- Doing arts and crafts can make you feel mentally relaxed. It’s a great way to spread positivity with your creativity. Kids could make some nice handmade greeting cards or as a family, you all could make a family tree together. The idea of the family tree is indeed very nice as kids will get to more about their own roots and grandparents.
- Video calls- Video calls are a great way to stay connected with friends and family. Kids would be happy to still be able to stay in touch with their friends despite not being able to meet.
- Make family videos- The times have been difficult and families are forced to stay inside the house. This additional time at home is a great way to make more memories for the life.
- Support neighbors- Times have been difficult and it’s important that we work together as a community. If your neighbors are not doing well or are suffering from covid, it’s a good thing to support them and offer your support in whatever way possible.
- Read books- Books are known to be best friends for life. Choose a book that interests you the most and gets on with it. It’s a great way to develop your hobby in these times.
These are some of the ways you can spread positivity during the Covid-19 Pandemic. While we are on our drive to spread positivity it’s also important that we don’t forget about taking all the precautions and care. And it’s important to maintain hygiene and wear a mask always when stepping out or meeting others even in your neighborhood.
Resuming travels? Here is the list of must-haves in your bag
While looking for a trustworthy mask for my entire family, I came across ‘MY’ Mask Series 1 Antiviral Mask and ‘MY’ Mask Series 3 with a Particulate filter. The masks are available in different colors to match them with your outfit too. So, you see these are perfect accessories for your lifestyle needs too 😊. My Masks are really great and absolutely trustworthy.
I have tried the series 1 Antiviral mask from ‘MY’. These are triple action filter masks that are anti-viral, anti-pollution, and anti-bacterial as well. These masks have built-in filters made of activated carbon and copper. The use of this mask can help us stay protected from viruses, pollutants, and poisonous gases with 99.96% efficiency.
Change is the only constant – and a lot has changed in the past year or so. Having a positive mindset helps prepare us to deal with unexpected situations in life. Try to take things slow and be hopeful of better days ahead. Tough times and situations don’t last for a long time.
